Animal Central Privacy Policy

Animal Central LLC (Animal Central) values its users’ privacy. Our Policy has been designed and created to ensure those affiliated with Animal Central LLC of our commitment and realization of our obligation not only to meet, but to exceed, most existing privacy standards.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy any any given time. To keep up to date on the latest changes, we recommend you frequently visit this page. If at any time Animal Central decides to make use of personally identifiable information that is vastly different from what we initially collected, a notification will be promptly placed at the top of your feed, and will remain there for 3 days. Users will have the option whether or not to continue using the Animal Central app at that time. If a user chooses to opt out of using the Animal Central app, you may delete your account by sending an email to [email protected]

It is always up to you whether to disclose personally identifiable information to us, although if you choose not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you as a user, and/or suspend your services. Animal Central collects various types of information, including:

• Information voluntarily provided by the user, such as name, location, email address
• Information automatically collected when using the Animal Central app, including cookies, third party tracking technologies, and server logs.
• User Location

Certain areas of the app will require access to your camera. Without this permission, you will be unable to upload pictures and videos.

In addition, Animal Central may occasionally collect non personal anonymous demographic information, such as age and gender.

Any information collected will be stored no longer than deemed necessary.

Animal Central does not sell, rent, or lease any of its customer lists and/or names to any third parties.

Animal Central uses various third party social media features such as Facebook, Instagram, and other interactive programs. These may collect your IP address and require cookies to work properly. These services are governed by the privacy policies of the providers and are not within Animal Central’s control.

Animal Central will not use or disclose information provided by you except under the following circumstances;

• As necessary to provide services you have ordered
• In other ways described in this Policy or to which you have otherwise consented
• In the aggregate with other information in such a way so that your identity can no reasonably be determined
• As required by law; or in response to subpoena or search warrant
• To outside auditors who have agreed to keep the information confidential
• As necessary to enforce the Terms of Service
• As necessary to maintain, safeguard and preserve all the rights and property of Animal Central LLC

Animal Central reserves the right to contact you if needed for non-marketing purposes. Animal Central also reserves the right to use our app or other public means to post notices or content related to the app.

Animal Central does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13). If it is determined that such information has been inadvertently collected on anyone under the age of thirteen (13), we will immediately take the necessary steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our system’s database.

Animal Central takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information through the app, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information, such as credit card information, that information is encrypted and transmitted in a secure way.

By using the Animal Central app, you are accepting the terms and conditions stipulated within the Privacy Policy agreement. If you are not in agreement with our privacy policies, you should refrain from using all Animal Central services. Your continued use of the Animal Central app or any related services shall mean that you agree and accept the terms.
